On November 1st, I had the pleasure and the honor of emceeing the one year anniversary birthday bash and fundraising event for She’s the First, a NYC-based non profit tirelessly working to connect amazing people like you to girls worldwide in need of your support to pursue their dreams by being “the first” in their families to gain an education.
Unless you count that time I emceed a fashion show in the gym of a Philadelphia middle school [lol!], this was my FIRST time ever emceeing an event! It was a ton of fun to talk about She’s the First and direct the event and rev up the crowd. There was SO much going on at the party, which was held at a really awesome space at Pop Burger in midtown Manhattan. The wooden floors and low lights gave the crowd a sexy appeal … plus the style & substance of looking good and feeling great while DOING GOOD to help girls all around the world to be the women they dream to be through the blessings of education.
