How Wearing Vintage is Sustainable Fashion

Green-conscious fashion blogger Greta of Greta Guide recently captured me touting the sustainable benefits of shopping vintage.

Not only is shopping vintage the rock n’ roll of possessing fashion know-how, it’s most definitely a FUN way to know that you’re adding some social goodness to your wardrobe by withdrawing support and purchasing power behind mainstream, mass-produced clothing.

Not that you should start picketing in front of your local H&M – it’s about integrating pieces of sustainable style into your closet that would otherwise be substituted with disposable clothing produced and distributed without environmental impact in mind.

Buy vintage: It’s style and substance without the stress of wondering how to be sustainable.

People I’m Thankful For

Despite graduating with a WRITING degree, my writing style on this style has been very conversational, at-ease, sporadic, and slightly [in]sane. But I think that’s because I have no qualms with just being myself. Because through my pursuit of career/life happiness within entrepreneurial drive, I’ve decided that life is too short to be anything but [...]
