Thank you so much for letting me know, Carol! I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. The 1930s, despite economic strife, was a beautiful period of inspiration. Thank you for sharing it ;-)

I am doing a Grandmother Memories book for each one of my 5 grandchildren. One of the things I had to put in book is clothing style at the time of my birth which was 1939. This was very helpful.

Thanks - great site!

This was wonderful! I love how you chose to present this with the close up photos and then in situation stills as well. Being the crazy Ginger Rogers fan that I am, I wanted to let you know that the still above of the woman in the black gown is actually a model from the film Roberta and not Ginger herself. The black dress that Ginger wears in the film crosses in the back. Thank you for the post, I will sharing around to all my vintage loving friends on facebook!
