Seriously. You can NEVER go wrong. See the Twitter conversation below for full evidence why.
Friday night, I was determined to have a damn good time. Not just a good time — but a DAMN good time.
Despite loving my abode in Spanish Harlem NY, NY & of course representing my small hometown roots in Lancaster, PA … I have to say my heart will always be in Philadelphia. It’s where I had my “coming of age” and embraced the opportunities that have made me who I am today.
So, when a Philadelphia DJ comes to town, this girl has gotta go. Friday night, DJ Deejay was heading up his famous MMP party at Le Poisson Rouge downtown. But this wasn’t JUST any normal MMP [Michael, Madonna, Prince - all night - on the dance floor]. In honor of the Lady Gaga show going on that night, DJDJ was also throwing in Britney, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga [BBG]. Thus, MMP vs. BBG.
Gosh, I love acronymns.
Anyway, DJ Deejay and I are now Twitter friends. He’s definitely a cool, talented guy from the 215 doing great things, and now, an admirer of Sammy Davis Vintage and her highlighter pants.
Keep reading on to feel the love. Philly love!
