Emma Roberts had everyone’s eyes on her as she sashayed the Oscars red carpet wearing a vintage black and white Armani Prive dress. Emma picked the Armani dress in support of the Red Carpet Green Dress campaign that aims to bring awareness to sustainable living. Who knew retro fashion can actually save the planet?
Best Supporting Actress nominee Nicole Kidman‘s vintage “secret” Omega wristwatch dazzled the crowd as she and her husband Keith Urban waved for the fans and the press. The Omega secret watch she was wearing came from Omega’s Museum in Biel, Switzerland. How’s that for exclusivity?
She also wore a vintage diamond cluster bracelet in platinum from the 1960s.
Golden Globes Vintage Red Carpet Fashion
Golden Globe Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama nominee Natalie Portman for her portrayal in Jackie showed off her baby bump in a yellow vintage Prada maxi dress. Vintage jewelry fans will also love her 1910 diamond bracelet. This is her second child with husband Benjamin Millepied.
Dancing with the Star’s Julianne Hough looked like an Ice Princess in her vintage Jenny Packham dress at the WB and InStyle Golden Globes after-party. Her silvery gray dress with a puffy silver tulle skirt showed off her dancer figure effortlessly. To tie the look together, she opted to wear her hair in a ballerina bun. I am sure it was a delight to see her on the dance floor that night.
Kristen Bell pulled out all the stops for her Golden Globes red carpet outfit. While her black sequin deep V dress was exquisitely elegant, it was the vintage 42.5-carat hoop earrings that really stole the show. We loved that she was also channeling Veronica Lake in her chosen hairstyle.
SAG Awards Vintage Red Carpet Fashion
Is it just me or did Kirsten Dunst look liked a vintage bride in the SAG Awards red carpet? Her cream ruffled Dior gown together with her gorgeous vintage Fred Leighton diamond fringe necklace made for a look in true Hollywood glamour.
Orange is the New Blacks’s Dascha Polanco bared her va-va-voom curves in her vintage menswear-inspired Jean Paul Gaultier jumpsuit. She set her hair in 1920s finger waves making her look like a modern-day Josephine Baker.
Grammys Vintage Red Carpet Fashion
True to her 70s vintage aesthetic, former Grammy nominee Andra Day looked stunning in her vintage peach Christian Dior from New York Vintage complete with a bouffant vintage hairstyle. While Andra wasn’t up for any nominations this year, she joined Demi Lovato, Little Big Town and Tori Kelly in a tribute Beegees performance.
