How I stumbled upon this past entry is still a mystery, but I wanted to say good on you sister! I agree that with experience (good/bad) comes learning. Therefore, we cannot always regret any experience because it has made us all the more wiser for it.
As for the thieves from this occurrence and the previous ones, SHAME ON YOU!
I've been described as "too nice" or "enabling." I, on the other hand, would like to describe myself as the girl who KNOWS that someone did me wrong but REFUSES to do wrong in return. Like the old cliched saying goes, "two wrongs does not make a right." So, if someone decides to use me as their personal doormat more than a few times I can cut them off - walk away - but never fully close the door. My good friend once told me "you can walk around me, in front of me, behind me...but do not walk on me."
There are positives that can be found in any negative situation and in this case, it's you imparting this wisdom onto your audience of fellow vintage lovers.
Thanks Sammy! Hang in there, and keep on keeping on!
