If it’s got to be a store, I’d say Arch Angel Antiques on east 9th. It’s not just clothes, but everything in there is amazing–it’s a treasure trove.

I think my favorite vintage store is Angela’s Vintage Boutique. I find that they tend to have clothes from the 50s/60s era (my fave) and also clothes in my size more often than other stores. There also used to be an amazing little vintage store on Ave B and 11th st–I forget the name of it and I haven’t been back in a while, so I don’t even know if it’s still there.

The best part is that proceeds go to a community organization, United Jewish Council of the East Side, so you’re helping out a bit too.

My key accessory is the scarf and that shop has an entire room dedicated to them. Plus, they have a vintage furniture gallery, a vintage book shop and cafe, and a vintage art store with paintings and sculpture. My fav website is for Vegas’ The Attic. Love their blog and highlights of their newest items.

Do they rent out the clothing or is it also for sale?

The photographs came out well, I wear ’70s clothing on a daily basis so it’s interesting to see how high fashion has interpreted these looks.
