Behind the Scenes Video of Last Week’s Photo Shoot in Lancaster, PA!

Here it is! The very special, very real & raw behind-the-scenes video of last week’s photo shoot for SDV in my hometown of Lancaster, PA.

I only grabbed video of the first set location at the historic [and what a hidden GEM!] Rock Ford Mansion in Lancaster’s “central county park” [I only quote because I think it’s funny that Lancaster has a “central park”]. If I had remembered, I would have captured video of the photo shoot throughout Downtown Lancaster — where we shot against brick walls, on cobblestone streets and while enjoying homemade ice cream [probably from Lancaster County cows, to boot] near my favorite town cafe, Prince Street.

Rock Ford mansion/plantation was STUNNING — my mom suggested that the photographer and I check it out, and we were spellbound by it’s mystical powers of nature. When we arrived to scope out the scene the day before the shoot, a family of deer were frolicking beneath apple trees! Actually, the deer were there the next day, too. Too bad they weren’t domestic pets that could be incorporated into the shoot ;-)

I can’t wait to share the finished photos with you all — huge thanks to photographer Ashley Therese for making her way to Lancaster [where she went to college a few years ago!] and capturing SDV for all that she is — a girl of style, substance who embodies feel-good fashion and do-good values!
