Maintain A Somewhat Normal Routine
As you have reduced time to spend outside, it could tempt you to not make an effort. It is so easy to slip into the routine of never standing up from your bed at all. The problem with that is you’ll start to think negatively. So do your best to wake up refreshed and get right out of bed when you do. Shower, brush, and have breakfast at the same time. This will keep you active and help keep the negative vibes away.
Don’t Obsess Over the News
You’ll see lots of updates, countless stories, and more about the pandemic as you check the news. Avoid reading them as much as you can. Obsessing over every outbreak increase or death could have a negative impact on you.
Choose to read your news from only government-approved sources and limit that to only two sources. Any update you don’t see in 30 minutes is irrelevant, so limit the time you spend surfing for pandemic news to 30minutes only too. You can do better things with your time. You can check for 30 minutes in the morning and then in the evening too.
Arrange Your House
You may feel unaffected, but there’s a reason people feel motivated and refreshed after tidying up. It’s because whether they acknowledge it or not, the clutter affected them. So, try your best to keep your house organized. Set boundaries for your activities, too. No eating in bed!
