Because Baby … I’m Born to Run!
I started running in 2009 as a way to connect with the streets of New York City and some of my best friends, who were also runners. After a few trial races, I was hooked on competitive running. I especially love trail running for the exciting ups and downs along the cascading hills, plus avoiding rocks, logs and trees along the unknown path!
I even won the female division of a nearly 8-mile trail race in 2010. Thanks to Lady Gaga singing in my ears, I shot up the trail hills and never once looked back, leading the pack the entire duration of the race.

Runner’s Must-Eat: Clif Bars
How it Inspires You: Clif Bars are delicious alternatives to making a pre or post workout meal. Their mission is to provide “nutrition for sustained energy.” So eating a Clif Bar isn’t just downing some calories, but actually fueling your body with vitamins that you need for daily health that creates a lifetime of wealth.
My favorite flavor is the white chocolate macademia nut. Seriously, I could eat one a day (and sometimes I do for periods of time!)

Runner’s Must-Use: Fuel Belts
How it Inspires You: You don’t need water for less than a 3-mile jog. But once you hit the 4-5 mile stretches, you’ll begin to feel the effects of burning calories and using your water supply.
Fuel belts are designed for long distance runners to keep themselves supplied without needing to stop and find a water fountain. If you’re hitting the streets of a forest, your neighborhood or a secluded running area, the runner’s belt especially becomes important to keep keys and other goodies (read: Clif Bars!) in easy-to-reach and secure compartments (read: stuff won’t fly out when you speed up your pace!).
