I love the ’90s, and have found that the winter season is the perfect time to pull out all of those trendy ’90s looks. Winter is traditionally a time of rest, renewal, and recovery. But that doesn’t mean that the season has to be boring. Are you looking for new ways to spice up your vintage outfits? Here are five ways to pull ’90s style into your winter outfits.
Turtlenecks
Full House’s “Becky” knew that turtlenecks are magnificently cozy. Just get one that isn’t too tight around the neck. This is an item that you need to try on before taking home.
Overalls
Not only are overalls super cute in a ’90s way, but they are also very warm! You won’t get a draft on your back or mid-drift when your shirt is tucked neatly into your denim or corduroy overalls.
Grunge
Try out the grunge look — a loose fitting beanie, over-sized soft flannel shirt, and jeans with holes in them.
Back-packs
In the winter time, you might feel like you have a lot more gear with you than usual. Maybe it’s mittens, a hat, and scarf, or maybe it’s a journal that keeps you company on the longer-than-ever nights. Whatever your gear happens to be, a cute ’90s flavored back-pack is going to give you a perfect place to store things. Does anyone remember clear back-packs? I loved those!
