Satin is another fabric that is totally different to velvet, from the way it feels to the way it looks – the two couldn’t be any more different. This fabric has a glossy finish as it is made using plain weaves and yarn. If you are to touch satin, it feels very silky and smooth but not in the same way as velvet.
