Basket Towel Holders: How to Make One Yourself

by Bonnie Leave a Comment

Source: ixiqi.co

It’s important to think outside of the box, when it comes to home decorating and interior design! A little creative thinking can seriously upgrade your space, which can make you feel brighter, happier, and a little more in love with the world. If your bathroom is feeling a bit blah, here’s a trick to get it closer to the spa sanctuary that you want.

Instead of stacking folded towels on a shelf, or tucked away in a closet, put them on display, within a basket that’s mounted on the wall. This doesn’t take up any extra space. You actually might save space, with this technique! Here are the basics.

You will need to hit the local thrift shops for baskets that are big enough to hold five or six towels at least. Bonus points if you can find two or three baskets in one set, in varying sizes. This would be ideal, because then you can mount them in a column and have towels in one, hand towels in another, and small face cloths in the smallest basket. But even if you only find one basket, you’er off to a good start! Next, use a few simple hardware items to mount the basket to the wall. Nails or screws should do the trick!
