Love This Jewelry Dish Idea!

futuristarchitecture.com

I love this jewelry dish idea because it is such a creative use of items that I see in thrift stores all the time! Tapered candle holders used to be much more widely used than they are currently. These days, it is hard to even find a tapered candle when you look — the style seems to be stout and wide.

Turn hard-to-fill tapered candle holders into the stem of a jewelry dish.  For this project you need a candle holder, three dishes, superglue, paint and a saw.

Chop the candlestick at an aesthetically pleasing point (perhaps half way up it or at another natural division point). Next, paint each piece the color you desire. Glue one piece to the plate or bowl that will serve as your foundation, for large jewelry. Continue stacking the dishes and candle holder until your jewelry dish is complete.

Can you think of any other creative uses for tapered candle holders? Please share in the comments section below!
