Vintage I’m Lusting for Fall

10 Historic Photos Of Famous Places

The other day my mom called me to ask, “What do you want for Christmas?”

It’s a tough question to answer, especially when you’re trying to MINIMIZE your possessions and not MAXIMIZE them, which the world of marketing teaches us is the right, “happy” way.

What I love about vintage fashion is that because there’s no mass produced “vintage” item, participating in this niche of personal style allows me to be a more conscious shopper.

When my mom asks what vintage I want for Christmas, I can examine my wardrobe and recognize what it is I WANT, not what I “think I need” as according to this materialistic world.

I can maximize my wardrobe with pieces I truly lust and will retain for a lifetime of #vintagelove.‘Tis the season to be a thoughtful shopper, and choosing vintage helps us to think, “Do I really NEED this? Or do I really WANT this?”

Choose the true “want” you need, and you’ll be a happier, healthier shopper and lifelong #vintagelover.

Here’s a peek at what I want for Christmas … and no, my two front teeth aren’t included (thankfully, I’ve got those.)

#vintagelove,
Sammy

For a (Hot) Cold Winter’s Day: Colored Leather

10 Historic Photos Of Famous Places

Black leather feels like you’re about to jump on the back of a motorcycle. Get leather fresh – without looking like you’re in a funk – with a pop of color on those leather-lustful legs of yours.

For a Fun Time: Leopard

10 Historic Photos Of Famous Places

Why mainstream stores haven’t adopted the leopard trend a la the jumpsuit is besides me. I was in Zara the other day and witnessed racks of leopard, but no leopard onesies. What gives? Grab it vintage and satisfy your all-over-feline fix.

Thanks, Shammy for sharing such a nice collection of winter wear. I really like that green colored leather pant.
