Link: Vintage Party Recap: Christmas Party 1963
Remember a couple of weeks ago when the snow came down like a thunderstorm on NYC, and I put on a pair of ugly galoshes but a fabulous outfit and trekked cross town to the home of Always Order Dessert for a fabulous 1963-themed Christmas cocktail party?
The lovely Alejandra behind the gathering just posted her amazing recap of the festivities — including beautiful photography of the food and decorative delights.
It makes me want to live Christmas all over again.
At least tonight is NYE.
Some highlights below … click through for the rest!

Don’t worry. I don’t really smoke — these were candy cigarettes for after-party-drinks-smoking [or in this case, chewing].
Jello salad? YES.
I ate it. And I loved it. The funny thing is? My grandmother served a strawberry-banana version on Christmas Day. And she’s 83.
The fabulous cooking diva herself. LOVE this dress.
