Snuggie in the Park

by Sammy Leave a Comment

Ah! I’m finally having the realization that my mirror pictures just aren’t cutting it. AT ALL. Scroll down, and forget what I’m writing just to look at the pictures. NOW.

See how pretty those shots are? Grrr. I may have to recruit my roommate to grab more shots of me outside. [Too bad I accidentally put the “date” setting on my point-and-shoot camera. Woops.]

The beauty of the great outdoors: Read on for the visuals.

I grabbed lunch at Whole Foods with my good friend from high school, Susie B. She wouldn’t let me take her pic to show the world her AMAZING red hair … so I grabbed a pic of Whole Foods instead. Cause yeah … it’s interesting.

THE LOOK: Snuggie-in-the-Park

SUNGLASSES: Vintage, SDV Collection

EARRINGS: Locally made, locally purchased, 5 Senses, West Chester, PA

COAT-SWEATER: Vintage, SDV Collection

[RED] SWEATER BELOW: Forever 21

TIGHTS: Ghetto-fab-store, Harlem, U.S.A.

SHOES: Gift-consignment from A New Mode, Jessica Simpson

Which is more awkward: the fact I’m wearing rose tights and a snuggie-esque sweater, or that mid-sentence-look I’m rocking?

Aw. I sort of like this. And the fact that a MTA bus was captured in the background. How oh-so-New-York-of-me.

After lunching with Sus, I checked out my girl Julia Illowicki perform at the Best Buy of Union Square. She’s … amazing. Don’t believe me? Just listen.

More on Julia soon … she is the #roadtrip2010 “TK 3rd” I’ve been feverishly twittering about.
