The Manhattan Vintage Show is THIS WEEKEND!

HUGE NEWS!!!!

The Manhattan Vintage Show, the semi-annual “parade of vintage” as I like to call it, is returning to it’s home at the Metropolitan Pavilion this Friday & Saturday, October 8th-9th!

My first time at the show was this time last year, when I helped my friend June at White Dove Vintage sell & mingle with the vintage elite and lovers alike. We had so much fun just meeting other vendors and spotting a celebrity designer or two who would visit her booth, looking for inspiration pieces for their contemporary lines.

Admission is $20 [click here for $5 off the ticket price!] to see and buy from over 90 vendors — PLUS! A special exhibit devoted to the costumes behind the new HBO show, “Boardwalk Empire.” I saw the first episode [mooched off my parents’ HBO, ha!] and I have to say: the costumes were DEAD ON! It was truly inspiring to see what an amazing job the set and costume designers did to keep all elements as authentic as possible.

Whether you want to see the show for education or just to drool over amazing vintage pieces [that you CAN buy, if interested!] I hope to see you at the show! I’ll be there from 5Pm to 8PM on Friday night. Look for my signature head scarf, and please say HI! We’ll grab a pic together … hopefully while wearing something shiny, sparkly and made from sequins! [cause I’m a sucker for sequins, ya know]

xx, SD
