So, it’s almost two weeks after Halloween. We’re moving on to pumpkin pie, hot cider, turkey and the subsequent sleeping like we’re old, running for Black Friday like we’re young, and holiday spending like we’re rich.
Well, whatever you are, I know one thing for sure. My good friend Bridget, who rented her Halloween ‘09 costume from SDV this year, looked like Joan from Mad Men.
In fact, I think she still does look like Joan. Even without the costume. Halloween all year, no matter the holiday? I think so.
Take a look at how she styled the costume herself. It’s a real pleasure when I can influence, guide, and ultimately, let go of how my customer dresses in pieces from the collection. I have to say that Joa – er, Bridget – truly rocked it.
And just a quick shout-out to the Philadelphia Weekly Style blog for showing me some love. I can’t pay you back … unless you want to rent a costume? I’m sure I have Ben Franklin, somewhere.

Even the chair looks vintage. Loves it!
