Hello Vintage shoppers, we know things are tough right now. Getting your hand on the budget-friendly fun things you enjoy shopping for is proving to be hard. You’re worried about your exposure to the pandemic and have to stay inside. It isn’t easy, but we will all get through this.

So, what have you been doing with yourself in the meantime? Did you know that vintage shopping is still possible right from the comfort of your home? You can get the things you need safely without having to worry about compromising your health. Here are the things you can do to get what you need when you can no longer go vintage shopping physically.

Shop Online

There are eBay, Amazon, and scores of other online spaces that offer you a chance to place an order from the comfort of your home. Many people are getting creative and putting their stocks on these websites so you can search for them. They’ll still come with discounts, and most times you can get free shipping when you buy above a certain amount. Have your vintage finds sent directly to the comfort of your home.

Social Media

Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are becoming more like market places every day. So, if you know the names of your favorite Vintage store, search for their handle. You could be lucky to find that they have a market page on Facebook or Instagram.

They could also post the occasional find on their Twitter feed, which you can snap up. They’ll handle getting the delivery to you at your house. Just remember to be on the lookout and ensure that it is not a fake page. If they are verified, then it’s much better.

Your Local Thrift Store Could Have A Website

Your local vintage boutique, consignment, or antique store could also have an eCommerce website. In that case, all you have to do is open it and shop from the comfort of your couch. You could also check their social media for when they’re offering sales. This will give you a chance to get some amazing finds at a fraction of the cost.

Clean Your Shopping

As much as the store will say they have done the same, clean whatever you get. There is nothing wrong with an extra line of safety. So, when it comes to you, take it straight through to the laundry. We are all so lucky that soap is one of the items proven to work against the transmission of this virus.

Take Care of Yourself

Your physical health is not the only thing at stake here. We have all been through so much. For over six months, every time you tuned into or read the news, the stories were bleak. We may be getting out of it now, but that time has taken a toll.
