Hello vintage lovers and HAPPY FRIDAY and 3-DAY WEEKEND!

The final 3-day weekend of summer upon us, and right around its corner are the busy days of fall and winter.

Unlike the “farmer’s” calendar of vintage decades past, we no longer work our ‘tushes off in the spring-summer-fall months to rest and hibernate in the dark and cold days of winter. Rather, we rest & relax in the sunny days of summer and work-work-WORK! those long days of the cold season.

September marks a big shift in my work calendar, too — not only will I continue to work as a vintage lover selling fabulous vintage at A Little Wicked from Tuesday – Friday, but my schedule is packed more than ever with speaking engagements, producing videos for a DIY style YouTube channel called “Threadbanger,” plus some big opportunities to showcase my videos on YouTube’s Fashion Week hub!!

Because I’m obsessed with the community we have built together as vintage lovers, sellers and evangelists, you bet I won’t be dropping off the social media planet anytime soon. I love updating Twitter & Facebook with vintage insight, fashion finds and creative connections.

But the digital world only goes so far, and whenever possible I love meeting all of you IN THE FLESH! So I  [wanted to share THREE upcoming events that enable us all to connect either in-person or through live video streaming [fancy!] thanks to a few future events I’m so pumped to participate in to keep on spreading that vintage love!

Keep reading after the jump to see if you can make any of the events from NYC to Philadelphia to the comforts of your own computer — because I want to meet YOU!

From meeting Stacey Kay of Goodwill Huntingg a few weeks ago, styling vintage lovers at A Little Wicked and most recently, leading vintage store tours of NYC … my options to connect in the flesh with vintage lovers are growing exponentially … and I am SO grateful!

I’m a firm believer in self-actualizing the future — and I see the future of this fall as one of a lot of work, yes … but with that hard work comes WONDER & WORTH.

Here’s to wonderful things to come, that are every bit worth it to keep on spreading vintage LOVE!

xx, SD
